Access Youth Academy is passionate about partnering individual Access students with accomplished professionals who have a strong desire to equip the next generation of leaders with the support, guidance, and access to opportunity they need to achieve their educational & professional goals.

Sponsorship Program Outline
Access students are bright, hard-working, and motivated youths who come from disadvantaged backgrounds. The Student Career Partnership program is an opportunity for accomplished professionals like yourself to:
-Stand up for student success by providing invaluable expert career advice and insight.
-Help guide a student as they make important decisions affecting their long-term educational and professional trajectory.
-Provide the financial support necessary to assure student participation in an array of enriching activities.
-Expose students to exciting career-specific opportunities.

- Can feel secure in having the support and guidance they need to focus their energies on achieving their educational and professional goals.
- Can participate in extracurricular enrichment activities available through Access Youth Academy such as: SEA Citizenship tour (inquire for more details about our enrichment programs).
-Intensive, high quality summer educational opportunities hosted by leading universities and colleges.
-Guaranteed participation in regional squash tournaments.
-Has the tools they need to break the cycle of poverty and find success.

Financial Commitment
$5,000 to sponsor a student for one year.

A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to transform the lives of underserved youth. Access was founded in 2006 by Greg Scherman and Chris Walker, who believed the San Diego community could benefit from an urban squash program that provided opportunity and support unlike any other non-profit in the region.
